Windows Copilot is a new AI assistant that Microsoft introduced for Windows 11. It is designed to help you with various tasks on your PC by understanding your natural language queries and commands. You can access Windows Copilot by clicking on the button on the Taskbar or by saying "Hey Copilot" if you have a microphone.

Some of the things that Windows Copilot can do for you are:

- Change settings, such as enabling dark mode, adjusting the volume, or updating Windows.
- Launch apps, such as opening Microsoft Edge, Word, or Spotify.
- Summarize documents, such as giving you a brief overview of a long article or report.
- Explain concepts, such as defining a word, giving an example, or providing a synonym.
- Integrate with other apps, such as using Bing Chat plugins to access information or services from third-party apps within Windows Copilot.

Windows Copilot is powered by the same technology that drives Bing Chat and Microsoft 365 Copilot. It uses natural language processing and machine learning to understand your intent and provide relevant responses. It also learns from your feedback and usage patterns to improve over time.

Windows Copilot is currently available for testing in the Dev channel of the Windows Insider program. It is expected to be released to the public in the fourth quarter of 2023 as part of the Windows 11 version 23H2 update.
