Join me as we take a look inside the Celebrity Silhouette, she's had a whopping $75 million dollars spent on her since I was last onboard in 2019. ** I was invited on board by Celebrity in 2021 to see the updates to the ship. I have literally no interest in cruising. Never been on one, and I have no intention of going on one. The nearest I've come to a cruise is watching The Poseidon Adventure every New Year's Eve as my own personal ritual. And yet. I am utterly fascinated by this channel. I watch every video without fail. (Emma is one of the few YouTubers I have on alert). I think it's the wholesome and welcoming tone. And the fact she's a fellow Brit doesn't hurt! These vids are the opposite of stress.

A well presented tour of the ship by the impeccably attired presenter. The floating city was defiantly on full display. It made it easy to understand the allure of cruising.

Love you Emma, you're the best of the cruise news Tubers, but I have to correct you on one thing. There are 5, not 4, Solstice class ships. You missed the newest one, the Reflection. Other than that, I really appreciate the before/after shots of the renovated areas. Will be on the Equinox in another week or so, can't wait.

Our first cruise back, at a similar time as yours, was also British Isles. 12 nights on Apex. Distancing was still a thing, but masks were not mandatory. I'm watching this one now as we depart for 13 nights for a Scandinavian trip. Your video was very helpful as I've not been on this class of ship before. Thank you for such an entertaining and comprehensive video!

So completely entertaining as your videos always are Emma ! Thank you !!! The remodel is brilliant if I may steal one of your adorable expressions ;-) May I ask if in the refit, they deepened that second outdoor pool on Deck 12 ? When I was on her prior to the refit, I went into the pool closest to the large bank of elevators and it turned out it was a kiddies pool LOL - up to my knees at best ! I pretended I meant to go in the pool by relaxing / floating atop the water so people wouldn't think I was an idiot, well but I was an idiot so there LOL !!! I hope now both outdoor pools are the same depth.... Love that indoor solarium pool too, but I need to be outdoors to truly enjoy a swim and laps. I so love cruising Celebrity and am thrilled you and your mom had a blast too !!! Cheers to you and to a life time of lovely joy-filled travels ! Marcia

I think my absolute favourite thing about the refit of Silhouette is the Craft Social addition - we found it so nice to relax in there with a beer (or two...) before dinner, but we probably wouldn't have used the wine bar that was there before as it seemed really dark!
