Thanks for this. I enjoyed the video as it brought back some great memories of a week Euro cruise we took a few years ago from Venice on the Silhouette.It was the first time I'd actually been on a ship as a passenger having been a Cunard Hotel Officer many years ago. I hope the industry can find ways to bounce back after the recent devastating time for many.

I have to say, I am very impressed with Celebrity. We sailed on the Solstice 18 months ago and it was a great trip. I found the food to be way above my expectations (except for the MastGrill, I wasn't that thrilled about it, Azamara and Regent leave it for dead) and the ship didn't feel at all crowded. In fact, we are sailing on her again in early December and I am really looking forward to it. Luminae is fantastic.

I agree. I’ve cruised the Solstice. I’ve been in many cruises including the original Oriana which I loved. I put the Solstice cruise as my second best after the Oriana (that had character). The Solstice has class, elegance, well laid out, just the right size ( big enough without being too big) and the public rooms were lovely. Some of the nicest I’ve seen. Great food. I actually hate the new Edge class - gaudy and just look ugly from outside with that orange ‘thing’

Queen Mary 2 at 18:32/18:41. That is one bonus you get from your UK homeport. She is far more present there than she is on my side of the pond at the Port of L.A. But on this video's subject, Celebrity always knows how to outdo themselves on mainstream luxury. That lobster dish at The Porch I could have any day of the week. And now that cruising is back on, perhaps I can sometime aboard Silhouette.
