Rammstein is one of those bands that got me into metal.

So this video pleases me greatly.

As a person who loves industrial metal I can say that all of these are very accurate.

I'd say "fear the machine" and "wait, is it a guitar or a synth?" mashed together is Sybreed

STARTER KIT TIME! You gotta pick at least eight of these:
1.) Downtune (or use a 7+ string).
2.) Use samples from horror films.
3.) Spam powerchords with a subliminal punk sensibility.
4.) Use fuzzy amps with enough processing to make them sound a bit like amiga samples (or visit the Black-Metal-Mart).
5.) Transform the drummer into a dark M.C. (if you have a drummer).
6.) Avoid solo-ing. If you do, make them slow-er and non-technical. Just make the notes as grimy as my used engine oil.
7.) OIL DRUMS!
8.) Make ghostly sounding intros after taking a trip to an industrial plant's dawn shift with a mobile recorder (phone will do).
9.) Synths/Keyboards and backing tracks.
10.) Give the vocalist a fuzz/overdrive pedal.
11.) The bassist sometimes uses a Yamaha-DX instead of a bass.

It all sounds so fun. Makes me wish I knew enough other humans to form a group.
