The negotiating team are at fault. Why are they negotiating in the middle of winter - the time most vulnerable to strike action, or go slows, or work to rule? Why did they walk out? Why is there no compensation for the status of essential service? Why is dispute resolution taking so long? Why did they table such a poor first offer? This is not the workers' fault. This is management incompetence.

It's possible for a total grid shutdown due to arrogance, incompetence lack of matenace and funds. Hope that is not the case.

Eskom like all other SEO will say that in X years the problem will be solved but in X years time, those that made the statement arent around in that position any more so the buck keeps getting pasted.
Fun fact, Load shedding has been around for half my life. Im sure that have achieved more than a single person that has ever been employed by the ANC Cadre scheme but because I am not the right color or Cuban, I cant help build this nation.
