Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has become an MP after winning the seat in Clacton - with the Conservatives in second place.

It is his eighth attempt to become an MP.

Mr Farage won the seat with 21,225 votes, a majority of 8,405.

Its ridiculous people in the comments suggesting Nigel didnt do well, the one big difference between reform and the smaller parties is that it got 4 million votes which is more than the liberal Democrats so the third biggest party in terms of vote share, yet the liberal Democrats nearly had 70 more seats, its outrageous.

I’ve just watched Keir Starmer’s speech outside of number 10 and I’ve never been so bored or uninspired in my life. Labour are going to be in serious trouble very quickly. Starmergeddon is the last thing this country needs at this moment in time. It’s highly probable that at some point over the next 5 years he will have to be a war time prime minister, and he’s just not cut out for it.

What this election does show is how absolutely ridiculous the first past the post system is. Reform got more votes than the Lib Dem’s yet find themselves with 4 MP’s vs 71 MP’s. It’s an utter joke.

I cannot wait to see Nigel in parliament. He will be one of many huge problems for this weak and unpopular Labour government.
