The exhaust pressure system has such potential.
However
the visual effects on the ice take me away
from the realism they have been trying to
achieve for years. The pressure system can
be in effect without the meter being visual
on the ice. It could be added to the boards
Or in my opinion nowhere at all. You will
know you have filled the meter to the max
once you see the defending team struggling

@ 2:14 That really sucks the player just clips through the ref. Youd think we were passed all that by now. They dont change much of these games every year, its minor upgrades. Youd think that they do more than just take two months and add a few more animations and call it good.

Personally, I think sports games need to go the route as Games as a Service. Theyre basically treated like that every year and youre having to shell put $70/yr for minor upgrades. Sports games SHOULD be in that catagory with $5 updates to the base package every new season. This is pathetic. EA, wither completely over haul your games and give meaning to purchases, or go the Games as a Service route

So, when he says: "Youll feel every hit, " I realize this is an Xbox Channel, but for anyone thats watching this just out of curiosity of what reviews are and are or have played the PS5 version of this game, is that really true? Do the haptics on the Dualsense feel different as you skate (I can imagine so based on how the haptics feel depending on what surface youre on in Astro on PS5), so do you feel that as your skater glides across the ice, how the haptics feel as you get hit, and then of course the adaptive triggers depending on your shot? The triggers halfway for your basic shot and then pressing all the way for a slap shot? Did EA bother to do anytjing with the haptics in NHL 24 this year? I was thinking of getting the Xbox version this year just to save space on the PS5 internal memory, but if thats the case and EA included meaningful haptic integration, Im in on the PS5 version then

shouldn't the exhaustiveness be built into the line fatigue system? Seems redundant and pointless, leaving the the only motive left, to create a buzzword marketing gimmick.
