Rogues being better at religion than Clerics and better at Stealth, Nature, and Survival than Rangers in D&D, so I'd say this is an improvement in that department.

My players nearly had a TPK to a couple goblins in our first encounter playing PF2e, it was a wake up call for all of us that this was not 5e and we loved it lol.

The "Why when I could just attack?" is a so common mistake. Whew... even in D5e it is amistake. Also the part about the goblins, the stealth (which can vary from table to table. Pf2 avoids that by detailed description) is correct in D5e.
