Eviction Moratorium and SB 91

What you need to know about the Eviction Moratorium

The eviction moratorium, originally set to expire on January 31st was extended until June 30th, 2021. A new bill, SB 91 was passed on Jan 29th that will use $2.6 billion in federal funds to pay landlords up to 80% of rent owed by qualifying residents with COVID-19 financial hardships.

These funds are to be distributed no later than March 15th.
