As an occultist, I enjoy his articulation here. Sure, the mental realm may very well be molded to the individual. Conversely, they may very well not experience what they expected, but quite the opposite. An atheist may well "go to hell" not because that represents an objective cosmic order, but per "life plan" for different experiences etc. A variety of experiences as particular to individuals and cultures does nothing to negate realities which need not in the first place be entirely objective. The lack of a "there" there, the recognition of an ultimate lack of the geolocation of higher realitiesm would represent an insight if the individual had any occult devotion.
