I think it was Pres Hinkley who was apologizing for the uncomfortably warm tabernacle at Gen Conf once, but added "but it's going to be a lot hotter if you don't repent!" LOL

Lol! Wish they had included Elder Uchtdorf's story about the tree rings (how some are thick, and some are thin), and then says, "Now, you're probably wondering what this has to do with planes..." 🤣

An elderly couple shared with me an experience they had with President Monson. They were at the Salt lake temple looking out at the yard. And parked in the yard was several white golf carts. So they waited sure to see some General athoritiys coming out of the temple. And sure enough they did. One cart remained so they continue to wait. President Monson came out he just sat there in his cart. He spied them watching him. He waved at them to come over to his cart he was all smiles as always he quietly lifted a box and opened it. And held out to them a box of chocolates and asked them if they wanted one. They said he giggled like a child and said I just love chocolate.
I thought wow what a cool story. He was such an awesome man!!!

Whoever says that General Conference is always boring or that the First Presidency and the Twelve have no sense of humor are "not" paying attention. That story of Pres. Monson about wiggling his laughed so hard I almost wet my pants. I think next to music I appreciate Heavenly Father's gift of humor the most.

The heart warming experience hearing Elder Monson speak after he passed away about 2 years ago. He was my first prophet and I will never forget him. Little eight year old me excited to hear him speak during confrence. 😢
