I really love that when he finds animals to eat, he doesn’t always go for the kill. He could have ate those baby birds, but he’d rather let them live. Partly because they wouldn’t provide a ton of calories anyways, and also because he’s just a good friendly Canadian.🇨🇦

I’m in CA and I’ve spent a lot of time camping in the sierras. I’ve seen more black bears than I can count, but only one mountain lion. I’m glad I was in a huge group when I encountered the mountain lion. Cougar roars sound silly when you hear a recording, but when you see one making that noise, there’s nothing scarier.

Top of a barren ridge during lightning is a good way to get dead, even if you are on a sleeping pad. Here in CO, around noon in spring/summer it will rain in the hills. Good to get low, put up a tarp and let it pass.

Watching u sense the beginning les and im so happy u up loaded your stuff. I always wanted u to come were I live in Newfoundland. Its June here and some days are rain and 12 degrees others are 25 & sun, spring or fall would really challenge or skills if u filmed here. Then again u seem to excel in colder weather
