Russia has taunted the U.S. after a NATO member sought membership in BRICS. The Russian foreign ministry said that “the world is tired of American attacks.” Moscow said that even NATO ally is looking for new forms of interaction, such as BRICS. Russia mocked and likened the U.S. administration to axe-wielding maniac. Last week, Moscow said that Turkey had officially applied to join BRICS. This makes Turkey the first NATO state to seek membership in non-western economic alliance.
