Hooded Eyes - simple makeup techniques for mature, hooded eyes

In this quick and simple tutorial, I will show you how to correct eyes that have become hooded with age. Some people are born with hooded eyes and that's a very pretty shape and should be embraced in my opinion.
This tutorial is for older women, like me, who’s upper eye lids have become lower over time.

Using a beginner level makeup technique, I will show you how to get a more lifted and rested appearance. Being over 60 myself, I have first-hand experience with hooded eyes that sometimes make me look more tired than I feel!
There are minimum products required to achieve this look.

Finally! I found an age appropriate video! You are beautiful, easy to listen to and show everything you are doing in a bright and easy to see manner. Thank you for your wonderful videos! I'm a 65 yr old and haven't applied make up in years due to the sagging, hooded eyes from aging and the fact that I can't see easily without glasses. I'm attending an event soon and need to figure out how to do the right make up for my hooded eyes. I'm still practicing your techniques but I'm confident. My problem is having to see clearly without my specs and no mirror I have found seems to be magnified enough. I suppose there's nothing you can do about that LOL. However, I do love how you make it seem so simple so that I don't need to do everything so precisely. Except for the lashes, which has proven challenging. Perfect! That is exactly how I do my very hooded eyes, and it does have the desired affect. I was happy to see someone showing us how to do this who actually IS a bit older instead of a 20 yr old model whose skin is nothing like skin 50+ yrs old. I'm 71 now (older than you I'm sure) so I appreciate seeing results like this.

Thank you for such a simple and straight forward tutorial on making the best of hooded eyes. There are so many tutorials out there and they all faff about with tons of different shades, brushes etc and it just looks horrible when you try to replicate it. I always had hooded eyes which eventually affected my vision. It was such a boost when I had surgery to remove part of the skin. Very little pain and about a week of looking as if I had been in a fight:) Still sightly hooded a few years later so loved your video.
