Eyeshadow tips for Hooded Eyes:

I get asked all the time for tips on how to apply eyeshadow on Hooded eyes, and It’s actually much easier than you would think.
So in this tutorial, I’m sharing some of my best tips and techniques.
Even though I do not have significantly hooded eyes I do however have one eye, in particular, that is much more hooded and always takes a lot more time and patience just to get it to look like the other, you’ll notice in this tutorial that the eye I focus on is slightly less open and has more of a fold over my eyelid which is why I chose to only demo on this eye.
Even with the finished look, they are still not twins and that’s OKAY. The main takeaway from this tutorial is the Placement of each shadow, blending techniques, and to maintain looking STRAIGHT ahead into a mirror throughout the application.

I am so excited that this is not just for hooded eyes but also uneven eyes. My eyes are uneven, and I have never found tutorials to make them match, especially taking into account hoodedness! I'd also be interested in tutorials for people who have low brow bones and little real-estate for eye-shadow. With my hooded eyes, I feel like my eyelashes touch my eyebrows. Whenever I try to tightline, I basically have no other visible makeup with my eyes open.

Your step by step tutorial is hands down the very best I have watched for hooded eyes. The pace is absolutely perfect.Your explanation on how to use each brush for each step is so helpful. The technique for applying the shadow colors is demonstrated very well. The lighting is perfect. The close up camera shots really help to understand the technique. Seeing how you even hold the brushes when applying is even helpful. You're holding them at the end and using a very light touch and a small amount of product. I finally get it! Thank you very much!
