Why can't older women marry younger men?

Just look at how media covers celebrity relationships where the woman is the older partner. It has been over a year and yet a reminder about coverage of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra marriage will make you cringe. Even in this day and age, it seemed like a big deal for a woman to marry a man who was ten years younger to her. The problem is 'PATRIARCHY'. Patriarcal society have always been in favour of child marriage in the past, and from there the concept of women should be younger than men in a marriage emerges. As per patriarchy, When the woman is younger, she can easily be suppressed, coz our society makes us believe that elders are always right. Older women marrying younger men goes against the patriarchal society and that's why they won't accept it. But sooner or later, patriarchy will be smashed by feminism. 💯

It is very disturbing to see even in 21st century, ppl are still carrying their old preconceived notions & ideologies. But one thing we must understand here, and i literally mean it when i say "to understand".. as by doing so we are actually behaving mature & progressing our thoughts. I do like a girl who is 31 and I am 19. Its not a problem at all. It's normal. It's all about how mature and perfect you find another person and the feeling of love they can ignite in you.
