Oh boy, for the last month or so I was having problems with browser in the background while gaming, I had stutters while enetering new areas. Turned out, it was NVidia container chugging so much CPU that even adding browser on top of that was problematic. Now, without this process I can use browser in the background without any issues.

RTX Video Super Resolution feature doesn't come cheap. Normally when u just watch 1080p or 1440p video GPU usage is around 5%. If you enable Super Resolution and upscale 720p video to 1440p your GPU usage stays in between 20-40% which doesn't worth for watching videos.

For me, this 531 driver makes my PC stuttering every 0.5 seconds... So, i rollback to older one and it fix that stuttering issue

I was getting a BSOD every time I touched my video editing app. Went back and installed 496.49 with driver 30.0.14.9649.

This driver completey fried my PSU damn. Played a game for the past month no issues, same day i install this i get full pc reboots when playing. Now i cant play a game for more than 5 minutes without getting a PC reboot. Rolling back worked initially but all the reboots probably roasted the PSU despite the failsafe attempt of shutting down.

In my case, it happens when I finish to play certain games, not all. Have to check in task manager for Nvidia containers (which drain so much CPU after playing) and stop that process manually.

I had some random game crashes and problems with sticky keys or keyboard switching windows randomly. Fixed it by turning off video super resolution.

found this video after searching for why I am suddenly noticing really low GPU utilization in games. Playing Metro: Exodus now, and am getting around 8-24% GPU usage with my 3080. Also noticing higher CPU usage, but it's really the low GPU utilization that made me scratch my head. Is that related? A different side of the same coin? Running a 10700K, wonder if that's bottlenecking the GPU... although I've only seen it go up to 70% or so

ive notice this, im ocd about this stuff. if i cant roll back if i just got download the old driver from the site. would it replace the current one beging that itsa older?

when i try to install that driver it literally crashes my pc and sends it to blue screen of death and also makes my internet browser (brave) impossible to launch unless i re-install it....dafq!

Hi is it for both windows 10 and 11? And can anything bad happen if it have more cpu usage? Because i havent looked in task manager or noticed anything bad since the driver update.

Have you checked in Task Manager which process eats that much CPU?

I noticed mine was "Service Controller" I'm definitely sure it's because of a Windows cumulative Update. I did a system restore and all is working back to normal.

So yeah it could be the Windows Update for me not the Nvidia one

i tried playing yuzu emulator but after i closed a game it shows the bsod with error Nvlddmkm.sys SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED
installed the older graphics driver and so far nothing is happening .. just hope it stays that way
