I think Ocala has seen so much growth due to its home prices. The median single persons income in Orlando is around 45k which would result in affording only a 160-180k home. Meanwhile, in Orlando the average home cost 350k. Ocala is offering more bang for your bucks

I live in Inverness and go to Ocala regularly. Traffic has exploded for a ton more traffic. Newer homes with dropping.prices make it a sensible MUST look at real estate now.
