In this video for independent samples You're using the smaller of df1 OR df2 to find t values - HOWEVER- in your other video on the same topic (independent variables, CI calculation) you use df= df1+df2 to find t values. These are grossly different distributions- which is right?

Should the (d/f=58) then be divided by 2. As stated "t a/2"=29. Then we can use the "t" table, correct?

while calculating t value you use alpha at 0.05 ..sudnt it be divided by 2 so making it..0.025 as in formula it alpha divided by 2..or am i not getting it, , cud u plz explain it

Wrong, it is a two sample test which requires you add the def less 2. why use only one df? or you have used it under what assumption?

For example n1 is 12 and n2 is 10.
