Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core Reunion REVIEW!

This is my Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core Reunion Review! The original Crisis Core, released on the PSP in 2007 became my favourite game on that system. Suffice it to say, I was chuffed to learn that Square were remastering this one for modern audiences.

FF7 Crisis Core Reunion will be releasing on all of the major systems on 13th December 2022.

I never had the chance to play the original game so I'm very much looking forward to this remaster next week. I break up from work this Friday too so I cannot wait for this game!!

If they had plans to release it on the Switch then the gameplay and graphics would have to be less advanced than if it was newer console/PC only. I think that's why it felt more "arcade styled" as you put it, so it works better with the Switch. That's my guess anyway.

I love the game on psp and except a LLG challenge I did almost everything there.

I can see a remaster of dirge of cerberus being announced with part 3 of the ff7 remake. 🤔

My biggest concern was how much they were gonna change in the story especially the ending because imo the original Crisis Core was an amazing game with one of, if not the best, ending in Final Fantasy overall. Glad they kept the story essentially the exact same and didn't veer off from it too much like they did in the remake.

Great review....no spoilers for new comers! I really hope that many people will buy the game to encourage SE to do more remasters! I loved this game on PSP and just can't wait to play it again on Xbox
