Fix Boot Error 0xc0000098 on Windows 10 - Easiest Way [2017]

Fix boot error on Windows 7/8/10 which says 0xc0000098 - "The Windows Boot Configuration Data File doesn't contain a valid OS entry"

This is the easiest way to fix this error.
You will need a Windows Installation Media to Fix this error.

Step1 : Insert the Windows Installation disk into your CD tray
Step 2 : Boot into the inserted disk
Step 3 : Go to 'Troubleshoot' and then 'Command Prompt'
Step 4 : In the cmd window, type the following

Now, boot your computer from the OS manager, and the error must be fixed.

i am not geeting that language select screen or repair your computer option, i m trying to boot from pen drive, whenever i click on boot through usb drive, it asks me to press any key, when i press any key, the error occurred, i have no idea how to fix it, please help me out here

None of this worked for me.
Try this, boot to the windows disk
Select Command Prompt (as per the video)
Type the following followed each by enter:

Diskpart
List volume
Select (select Fat32 volume) need a space after volume (select volume 5)
Assign letter=z
Exit

bcdboot c:\windows /s z: /f UEFI

Exit and reboot.

On my Windows 7 ultimate the command "rebuildbcd" sometimes doesn' t work and when it does and the bcd is rebuilt another missing file appears as a driver or another file missing yet.How can i fix it without reinstalling the operating system?I tried to update but i failed....

if u not have windows cd u can create a bootable usb using powe iso its can help u from the porblem use power iso only do not use another bootable creater

i had 2 windows and after " rebuild bcd" cmd said "total id wind ins = 2" and asked me to add [1] then [2]
yes[y] or no [n] or all [a]
i chose y in two times and the 2 windows appears now in startup

When I put in bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd it says it has identified 1 windows installation and then asks if I want to add it to the boot list. I have options yes/no/all. What do I do?
