I love garlic. I use 6 to 7 cloves. Although those almost 90° outside here in Florida, I love soup and will be making a soup today. Thanks for😋🙏🏽

I made the soup, and I did rinse the beans. It was delicious. I added grated cheese. I will make it again. Now I have to figure out what to do with leftover kale. Recipe on bag says you can make kale chips.

Am currently trapped inside for
the next few days due the near-Arctic weather in the Midwest. Going to definitely cook some great northern beans tonight and do this tomorrow. I might add a splash of white wine to deglaze after I saute in the tomato paste, though-- since I have an open container to use up. 😉

As far as garlic goes, the last bag of garlic I bought, the heads were kind of petite, so I'll probably just smash a whole head of cloves with my chef knife and toss them in.

Hi. I plan om making this soup today. Looks healthy and delicious. Do you rinse beans from can before adding? Some people do and others say it adds flavor. Thanks

I use a LOT of garlic, probably would use at LEAST a head of garlic in such a large😊😊 pot

Be careful putting hot liquid in a blender. My daughter was making bany food with hot vegetables and it explded all over her Luckily the baby wasn't in there.
