This helps explains why the ISO has a minimum of 640 when using F-Log in Movie Mode. There is no option to adjust it without moving out of F-Log into standard color settings. As you have pointed out, bringing down the DR enables you to reduce ISO. Thanks, this has been driving me mad all week.

The dynamic range on Fujifilm cameras is about saving the highlights in your pictures, higher the value, more highlights get saved. That being said, it kills the shadows.

It is almost the same with most brands if u going to shoot manual mode; turn off auto features, but not for beginners. ;)

But what is wrong with ISO 320 for a HDR scene? Surely the camera is boosting the shadows by using a higher ISO whilst keeping the sky blue? Is the additional noise not worth having so that the photograph is exposed properly? Surely ISO at 320, or even 800 isn’t going to create enough noise to warrant under exposing the image?
