Coke is probably the main reason I became a diabetic at 26. I drank it like water my entire life. I couldn't imagine a day without it. after being diagnosed I switched to coke zero but in January 2020 I watched a YouTube video about the dangers of artificial sweeteners and that was the last day I had any form of soda, sports drinks, juice etc. it's been over 3 years of drinking 99+% water and the occasional small milkshake or iced coffee a few times per year. If I could do it than anyone reading this can. now I can't imagine drinking that poison.

The Pepsi blind-test was a clever scam. Have you ever had a sweet jiuce after eating even sweeter candy? Suddenly, the juice taste just sour. And Pepsi simply used that effect to their advantage. Pepsi was slightly sweeter, so after blind testing both drinks back and forth, the coca cola sample started tasting significantly more dull than the pepsi-sample.

The saddest part of this story is the fact that the cocaine in coke was significantly less harmful than the sugar they replaced it with.

I haven't drunken Coke or Pepsi since I was in middle school about 11 years ago. I made the decision to start eating healthier when I was diagnosed with high blood sugar. I'm glad that I did, because it made me realize how sufficient water is on its own. I'm going to raise my children with this knowledge in the future. Thanks as usual, Moon.

I still remember the day my high school removed all the Coke machines. A small black market opened up where seniors would leave to buy Cokes and sell them for a profit during lunch time. Everyone was so upset, but over time everyone felt better and we all recognised how good the change was.

In Guatemala (just a country below Mexico) people call any kind of soft drink "agua", which is the Spanish word for water, so even if it's not exactly Coca Cola, the dystopic disaster that is the replacing of water with sugary syrup is not a conspiracy, but a reality in most of central america.

I've drank Coke for years and years, I'm 48 and drank it from around 8. The final straw was the 'too white' nonsense from a few years back. I've never touched it since. This video maintains my abstinence. Thanks Moon.

There has to be some interesting history about how the public reacted and the impact to when Coke actually stopped putting coke in their drink. Like, I wouldn't be surprised if over half the adult population was fully addicted to it and then bam. County wide withdrawal

The fact is Coca-Cola really does have good marketing and that has so much to do with their success. I've stopped drinking Coke even though I get a hankering for it once in a while but I haven't looked back. I don't drink soda at all. But that's the power of marketing

It didn't have cocaine in it, it had coca leaf extract. Extremely big difference. Anyone who has tried coca leaf tee can tell you it's very very different than progressed cocaine

I stopped drinking coke when I was 17. I'm now 45. Best decision ever. But I understand why Warren Buffett loves and trusts Coke to be his cash cow. Its addictiveness makes Coke reliable and profitable for the long term.
