Question.... I just watched your video, awesome and thank you for the info!! I went to do that, I removed the strain and under that is a metal white piece. I can't put anything down because of this piece. It is an upstairs bath/shower, if that makes any different. THANKS so much for any information!

So...I'm about to do this, I have the exact same snake for mine.This was super helpful, however I'm still scared of chewbacca coming out of my drain, and the smell of death.I wish I had a handsome man like him to unclog it for me.Shame shame!!

If you can help me.My shower room water drain is clogged and tried DRAINO+vacummed but not fixed.I dont see any hair or dirt in line while going to use snake.what could be the problem....

Great video! I tried using a manual auger, a hook made from a coat hangar, another made from a more flexible wire, and a few other tools. The problem I'm running into is that they all hit a wall after about 9 inches. I can't tell which direction the drain goes. Any suggestions for me?

I was wandering could you also use a plunger to do this job? I was also told to remove the nozzel from a garden hose, an insert the hose as far as possible into the drain. Wrap a small towel around the hose and have someone hold it. Turn on the water to the hose and crimp and use controlled burst of water....is this good or bad?

I'm having this exact issue now, I'll check out Lowe's or Home Depot for a snake. Also LOL @ "Be sure to wrap it up, take it out of the house because it smells".
