I bought a 25 foot version of this from Harbor Freight for $15 to use in conjunction with a power drill because I got tired of the constant clogs in our kitchen sink and bathtub. It paid itself off within the first week when both got clogged.

I bought the Rigid one and pulled out a heap of gunk and hair which felt so good!

Unfortunately I did have to get a plumber in as we found the issue was roots in the drains outside causing the backup of water, but the issue was fixed after that!

Liked for the spongebob bald reference. Got one to finish a clogged tub. I strongly recommend a hand pull tool as well. It catches the hair on the nubs as you pull it. $6 or less and cleared most of the clog before I used this contraption lol

Always enjoy your videos despite not commenting much. I had a random question that you may or may not know the answer to. My wife and I had some plumbing problems and the plumber fixed it, however we had 1.5 inch pipe and he removed 95% of the 1.5 inch pipe and replaced the rest with 4 inch pipe. Our shower wouldn’t drain before and now it does it just drains slow, wasn’t sure if that’s normal since we have 1.5 inch pipe connected to 4 inch pipe

I use the 18v Ryobi Auger for my business. The bigger version works best for me, and I usually get 200 or so before I need to change the cable. Tubs, Bath and Kitchen sinks. I always follow up with "Thrift" crystals after I have good flow.

We've had a blocked shower since June and havnt used it since then. I semi unblocked it spending many hours pouring in solution and plunging but my family member blocked it again with their long hair. Since my brother has done nothing with it ( he doesn't work) I guess ill have to. Especially that 1 family member spends 5 hours a day in the bathtub and sometimes i can't have a 5 minute bucketwash.

I don’t recall him mentioning it, but the only thing I’d add is running water while snaking the line. It’ll aid in clearing the stoppage.

Would you be able to show how to clear the main? In NY we have U traps that tend to be inside the house, either in the basement, or in the house itself. I know you need to use a sewer machine, but was wondering what else needed to be done.
