im from Canada, i have my excavator operator cert but i wanna start in doing utility worker position first! PLEASE ANY TIPS??

Does not really apply now, you need to get so many licences and qualifications, even a utility role you need HR licence, Bus licences RSA, the list goes on.

NZ citizen, have mc license, Australian number and bank account, , experience as a trucker for 4 years in line haul .. still not getting response from any of the roles applied online for fifo..

You definitely need more than just a pulse to get one of those jobs. It seems that every utilities role at the minute is asking for people with previous fifo utilities experience. Very difficult because that is the best entry to the mines, and you can't break into it without already miraculously having experience doing it.

Hi Alana, I’m from Singapore and is flying to WA at may 2024 with a holiday working visa.

Been looking into getting a fifo job but I realised most of it requires a manual driving license. (Do not I do not have one as i only have a military driving license class 3/4) will this hinder me into getting a fifo job in the near future? I’m looking for anything with 2:1/3:1 work roster.

Also I do not have any experience in the mining industry and but work in a few labour intensive jobs previously (currently working as a security officer)
