I remember when I first saw this, I couldn't stop laughing at the last part about how older siblings get through life 😂😂😂😂

So damn true. I literally have PTSD from my childhood. I was the scapegoat for what they did as twins and for my parents marriage. Fun stuff

Bruh, I’m Indian, I have two older brothers, one 10 years older then me, the other 8 years older then me, they had it so much better and easier then I did.

When they were in high school, our parents let them take easy classes and play sports

I had to take the harder classes and my parents only let me do academic extracurriculars.

My brothers were allowed to leave the house and go see their friends a lot more often then I did.

Even when they were sent to college, they were still spoiled by our parents

When it was time for me to go, my parents wouldn’t let me pick my major or pay for shit

Noooot necessarily. Honestly, my parents expected me to follow in my older sister’s footsteps throughout school and I had to really fight for them to fund what I wanted to do and only got some of those things, while my older sis had more freedom cuz she had no footsteps to follow.

They assumed that I would end up disciplined and high-achieving like my sis if they forced me on the same path as her. Just cuz she wanted to do it, doesn’t mean I did. The whole “youngest siblings don’t have to fight any battles” thing just ain’t true.
