i got my 93 EZGO golf cart in 96, as it has low hours, came from canada, and it still runs like new, not one drop of oil burned, all original (except the tyres(as i switched to 5.70-8 trailer tyres), starter/generator belt, 3 batteries(last battery lasted 7 years)) and no rusts or dents on body, never seen or driven in snow, always garaged, well maintained, lots of options added to it, it's far better than yamaha and club car models

Do far from what I’ve seen and read. Tomberlin is among the best all around electric LSV and street legal carts around. Their built in Leesburg Florida and have a number of features most others do not. Like four wheel brakes with vented disks in front, four wheel coilover shocks for a better ride along with automotive type independent front suspension and rack an pinion steering with power steering available, that no other offered. Plus three point seat belts! The prices run from $7k-13K. If you want a gasoline cart, the best way there is a Yamaha Quiet Drive EFI. That’s just about as quiet as electric, but with the 5.5 gals gas tanks, with 50-60 mpg, distance is not an issue! Plus they do offer the best ride with four wheel coil over independent suspension like a sports car! They do start at $8k though. But both or these have painted steel frames that can rot over time. There are a couple manufacturers that do offer aluminum frames that last a lot longer, but only offer buggy leaf springs that ride on the harsh bouncy side.

The BIG difference? A gas engine will have some service costs and, except for an EXTREMELY rare instance, will never have to be replaced. A battery pack WILL have to be replaced within 5 to 7 years.

Yeah but when you hit bumps too fast your batteries break so gas powered way better just by driving a gas-powered one in 2019 is way more fun
