The thing is its hard to find a fitter like you and Dan, If you go into your local AG branch they often just ask handicap and use the manufacturers guff to sell you a product. These type of videos are enlightening and give people the confidence to know if someone is forcing a sell or actually trying to sell them something to improve there game.

Spot on comments, great video, looking at changing my clubs so I improve???? I need to look at how I play first, my slice or top shot won’t disappear with a new club. Great advice, driver guide was very informative as well. As a foot note, glad to see Locky playing with a driver with a proper shaft ( might be a bit yellow but it’s very shiny!!!!)

Just bought a used 5-UW set of ping g5 maroon dot (I'm tall) and love them. 1995! Getting back into the game this year after a decade away.

Great video, and great tips. I got fitted a few weeks ago, and went through three shops just to find a fitter personable/knowledgable enough for me to trust and deal with.

Really good advice, I'm having lessons now which I hope will improve me as a player before purchasing new set of irons. Good advice though and good tips on what you should ask as a player!!👍👍

Great video. I switched from Callaway rogue x to the 2018 x forged after watching your videos on de-plaining. The rogue x were absolutely ridiculous. I love the Callaway x forged irons 5-pw, Wedges are Callaway md4 52, 56, 60, but my driver is Ts3!!!😉😉😁

Enjoyed this. First custom fit I had (years ago) fitted me to my swing at the time which was delivering a high handle so lies at 3' up. Once I'd improved my swing they were unusable. Wish the fitter had mentioned that at the time.

I tried several sets and narrowed my search to the Srixon 785 and the Mizuno 919 Tour. Ended up going with the Srixon as the worst of my shots were a little bit better while the flushed shots behaved the same. I got a little higher spin with the Mizunos but I'm a high spin player anyway (~6800 7i with the Srixons, ~7050 Mizuno). Love them so far...

Mate that’s the best advice I’ve ever heard and to all after just being fitted for a set of iron is to follow marks advice 💯 %
A truely good fitted will find you the right fit for you as I found for me in my Callaway apex irons and I never had them as a brand or iron id ever consider but I never looked at the back of the iron I was hitting so I just let the feel and numbers do the talking. Now just to decide what grips to get! 🤔

Anyone thinking of getting fitted for clubs should watch this. I've always been wary of going for a fitting because I have heard lads complaining that it didn't help them! But having listened to your explanation I'm thinking they may have been looking for something that fitting couldn't give them. Maybe what they needed was a lesson and a better understanding of how they strike the ball. This video has given me good insight and I'll give fitting serious consideration now. Very enjoyable channel.

Very interesting Mark, have just booked myself into the Wilson factory in Irvine to get new irons and hybrids. Was a little worried about how I would perform at fitting but now feeling a little more relaxed about it, thanks

Great video Mark everything about club fitting explained in Layman's Terms.I was fitted last month with Titleist AP1. My lie angle on the board was varying between standard and 1 degree flat? (Toe up). Advised me to stay with standard lie. Irons going dare I say it very good,
