☆WHY IS PIKACHU SO INCONSISTENT?! // Pokemon Anime Discussion/ Theory☆

and REALLY REALLY sry for not uploading in such a long time, but I am sick right now and idk if I will be able to upload more consistent :/

But let's put that aside and instead of that let's talk about something really INCONSISTENT: PIKACHU! for years many fans are complanining about pikachus power lvl and why it's so unbalanced: on the one hand it can defeat pokemon like tyranitar , dragonite and metagross but on the other hand it can't defeat pokemon like surskit and lvl 5 snivy? 0.o

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!

well maybe I have found a *explanation* ...wanna know what it is? :D

This also explains the Latios vs Pikachu fight, the element of surpise was on Ash's side, using Pikachu to latch onto Latios' back and thunderbolt it 5 times. I'm looking back at all of Pikachu's big victories and your theory is true! This is now canon in my book, thank you, Ranger.

The way I see Pokémon Battles in the anime are 5 key aspects:
Power, Speed, Technical skill, Range and Timing.
The most important thing when it comes to the anime is to not put levels on Pokémon and view it as an open field with battle experience being helpful but not confirming a win. This explains and makes the anime more enjoyable.

IMO power levels in anime (mentioned in pokemon tech episode in first anime) works differently than in games. In games, level never drops once pokemon reaches certain level unlike muscle size which drops when the human isn't training regualarly. Levels in anime are just like muscles of humans irl. They drop when pokemon isn't training. Every first battle in a region happened after Pikachu's break from battles and therefore it was less tough and/or powerfull at the beginning of each journey. The suprise and power theory didn't considered durability aspect but I think my theory perfectly explains it.

I think he gets inconsistent because the God Arceus decided, "Fuck it, don't want Ash to get strong pokes in the beginning or else he'll win the league and we can't have that.

Thank you for this video. I've seen a few other Pikachu theories on this previously, but they were mostly either bad theories,  or just hard to believe. However, this I find is an excellent explanation as to why Pikachu is so inconsistent. Thanks! ^-^
