ExcellsFun I appreciate all of your videos and have found them very helpful.  I thought I knew a lot, but I learn something new every day from you.  My question is I'm wanting to take a decimal and convert it to feet inches, but I want to format it to go to the nearest fraction, but not exceeding 16ths.  Here is what I'm using, but having trouble with the text formatting.  working Number 318.75Next Cell   318.75/12  =  26.5625Result  26.5625 (in Cell I31)Formula to convert =INT(I31)&"' "&TEXT(12*(I31)), "#-#/##")&CAR(34)Result  26' 6-3/4"However a number like 163.465 will give me a result of 13' 7-20/43", and I would prefer it rounding down to nearest 16th (16' 7-7/16").

fyi, 1/3" is not a correct measurement number. it should have denominator in 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 etc
