Never had I imagine that using a piston would make it easier than braking it and putting it back in. Very smart method there.

If you don’t want to make a raid farm for emeralds I recommend a tree farm and trading sticks with a fletcher villager

This is actually really helpful and not time consuming anymore to break the lunker again and again just to find the right enchantment trade

If you do this with a cured villager, from a zombie villager, the cured villager will sell things including Mending books at a discount. So the using the boat on a villager method is not the ideal way but it works if you haven’t found a nether fortress yet (needed to find nether wort to brew exploding weakness potions to cure zombie villagers).

I already have a full trading hall with the enchantments I need but man I wish I had that piston trick when I did mine. Pressing a button is so much better than breaking and replacing the lectern

FunFact : the Mending I enchant isn't actually the rarest enchant, it's actually the Soul Speed I, II and III. They can be only obtained in piglin bartering and (rarely) bastion remnant loot chests, camman18 said

Still works great, even on the latest version of 1.19, its totals RNG getting mending tho I tried at least 100 times till I got it, my buddy got it in 20, still a massive time saver.
