Join Quantum Psychology Pioneer and Licensed Professional Counselor, Valerie Varan as she interviews Lynn Russell, author of Beyond NDEs: The Next Step in Near-Death Experience Research, her latest book about the spiritual messages coming back from near-death experiencers.

A spiritual seeker throughout her life, Lynn began as a teen researching the major world religions and spiritual philosophies. For over 30 years, she worked as a family counselor, and after retiring, became involved with the research of Dr. Jeffrey Long, MD, a radiation oncologist and leading NDE researcher.

In this Part 1 of 2 segments, Lynn shares her views on how doctors’ reactions to NDEs are changing. She tells us how experiencers describe God, the soul, and the nature of reality, including the consciousness of each cell and subatomic particle. And she addresses how her own dive into the findings of quantum physics helped her articulate this vision.

Together, we summarize some of the universal and common elements emerging from NDE research. We discuss Love, Light, the essence of energy, the quality of multidimensionality, and the concept of the hologram to depict our multiverse, from the point of view of the experiencer compared to science.

In Part 2 (to be released soon), we go on to talk about freewill, accidents, the role of the soul in determining our set of life circumstances, the role of the choices we make (or decline to make) in this physical reality, the role of prayer and thought, and the role of the collective consciousness (humanity, world, all dimensions) in creating reality. Lynn tells us how experiencers see reincarnation and karma, and answers the only too common question of “Why bother?” in this life. Common after-effects of NDEs, why no two people have the exact same near-death experience, and the direction for future NDE research are discussed. Lastly, Lynn concludes with her vision of the magnificence we all are.

Dear Valerie, dear Lynn, I just loved your conversation, thank you for it! My Mom had near-death experience during a complex brain surgery when she was 42. She saw the tunnel and felt the attraction to go to it, but decided to come back to her life, as she did not want to leave me alone. So this was her will-power decision to continue this incarnation. After this experience, in a year's time it coincided that we both started our spiritual self-development journey, which continues for some 35 years. So this is the experience from the first hands in our family.
