I remember watching a police chase live on the news. At one point, the chopper lost track of him for a minute or two. At another point, the suspect crashed his vehicle. He got out, ran to a vehicle that happened to be filling up, stole it, and the chase continued. One officer was just feet behind him when that happened, but didn’t quite catch him. He later drove the stolen vehicle up a railway! Shortly after that, I think a tire blew out, and he had to abandon the vehicle. He ran into a grove of bushes and/or trees (I don’t remember which) and the chopper lost sight of him. He was captured there, out of view of the camera. To this day, that’s still the most fun I’ve ever had watching the news.

The cowboy got charge for animal abuse, as he failed to get horseshoes for the horse before forcing him to gallop down the expressway. The horse was so badly injured that initially vets thought he would have to be euthanized, but he survived and went to live in a horse sanctuary.
The idiot "cowboy". who has never seen a cow in his life had no concern at all for the welfare of the horse, it was crazy hot that day as well.

I remember this when it happened and as an experienced armor troop, If he had not tried that maneuver or combat locked that track, nothing short of another tank would stop it, but the driver was not trained well or he would have been buttoned up, just let the M-60 go it would run out of fuel soon enough.

-Other Tanks
-Helicopters
-Anti Tank Rifles
-Rocket Propelled Weapons (RPG-7, AT4, Javelin, etc)
