I really appreciate these videos. The advantages over live lessons is you can freeze and rewind for one.The other is that I can scroll through the video descriptions and learn what I want when I want.Whereas in live lessons you arent aware of whats available to learn. There is ALOT more to learning to be an actual musician than just buying a chord book and learning to play other peoples' peices. It was once said to me that an artist learns a few tricks and some chords and then gets all experimental.Whereas a musician takes the time to study EVERYTHING thats ever been discovered and really does thoroughly know the instrument he is holding. So, that being said...with these videos I am slowly but finally making the smooth transition from artist to musician.Smooth because I can take my time and master everything before I show up for another lesson.Which is just pressing play instead of getting in my vehicle and fighting traffic. Thanks ALOT for making these!

Hello! First off, you are one of the best I have seen. I am older now, but I still play. I have played all the clubs in Panama city, and have enjoyed a full music dream. I wanted to ask you something though. I taught myself to play, and have done ok, but my picking is so sloppy and haphazard. Can you recommend something that will help me? Thanks! ...Joe

been playing chords for the last 10 years on acoustic. picked up a nice Gibson electric. and amp, so decided to do some solos, but find i am missing the strings with my right hand, ok when i fingerpick but with a pick i am all over the place, is there practice which will improve this.
