Is the 10 commandments the only commands given to us from God? Were the rest given to us by Moses? Some believe this to be the case. The claim that the 10 commandments are the Law of God and those that came from Moses are called the Law of Moses. And many believe that it was the Law of Moses that Yeshua came to deliver us from. Could this really be the case. Join us as we examine the scriptures to find the truth of the matter.

This was a very inspiring study on the modern division of the Torah by the majority of Christian churches. I enjoyed this thoroughly, and I feel blessed and better equipped. God bless you all at 119 ministries

The Ark of The covenant had 3 things inside it, The Manna, The 10 Words, and Aaron’s Rod. Yahusha is the Bread from Heaven, Yahusha is The Law or Word made Flesh, Yahusha is The Rod he gives direction. The 612 Laws are based on the 10, the 10 are based on 2, Love Yahuah and Love your Nieghbor. shalom

The Law of YHWH and the Law of Moses are surely one in the same. Father YHWH's pattern for the Tabernacle and for the placement of every element of the Ark of the Covenant is a perfect and powerful, poetic symphony of His Love, of His Law, and of his Heart. Amazing!!

The 10 commandments are an outline. The Torah tells how to do them.

19:30 to 19:36 I truly don't understand this comment?
The two greatest commands ARE found in the 10 commandments. The first 4/5 are how to Love Him. The last 1/2 are how to love our neighbor.
Why would he say the two greatest are NOT found in the 10 commandments?

119Ministries is confusing. Ten Commandments is separate from 603 Mosaic Law.

The Law of God, 10 commandments are eternal. The Law of Moses was left on the Cross with Jesus Sacrifice.

I agree!! It's so refreshing to hear the coherent explanation! I do not like those pastors who say the OT is for Israel and the NT is for Gentiles, yet they quote the OT to collect money. They are daughters of the Harlot. What I learned from reading the Bible is God's word is immutable, beyond time and place.
One thing I want to point out is 2 Timothy 3:16-17. When he said the Scriptures, he meant the OT. When Jesus said the Scriptures, he meant the OT. The NT wasn't compiled until almost 400 years later, and it had never been considered as the Scriptures until the reformation time in the 17th century. Until then it was just the most valuable references. We must read Paul's letters with Berean attitude.
