As the title says I'm going to attempt a remap of the ST myself by pulling the ECU file and send it off to be altered for a stage 1 map for me to put it back on the car. Budget Remapping

I have no car experience and I have started late on in life. None of my videos are how-to/tutorials but simply some bloke with no knowledge attempting to modify his own car by saving himself labour costs at a garage.

Vauxhall Zafira GSI 245bhp (I did pop a piston on the first engine)
Subaru Impreza WRX UK version standard map
Ford Focus mk2 ST225 - Current

Did it with my 3.0 Tdi to remove swirls, egr and dpf. Worked like a charm!

How I can find the tuning file to write it to the ECU with the KESS? My car is Opel Insignia 2015.

So i have bought an Mk4 GTI and i want to start modding it. As i'm on budget, I was looking to be able to tune the car as I progress with the mods, and I don't fancy paying a tuner every 2-3 months just because I upgraded a few parts.

So do you reckon I could tune the car myself using the Kess V2? I've tuned standalone ECU's before using TunerStudio and there are a bunch of tutorials, however the Titanium ECM doesn't seem to have that many.

Or do you think I could get it remote tuned? I'm not sure how would that work with heavily modded car and that's why I want to tune it myself, local tuners are asking €350+ for a tune plus it's 2.5hr drive each way so I really want to do it myself.

Just wondering that it can read faulty PCM and transfer all firmware to good second hand PCM unit from car yard? ...in that case i dont have to pay anyone for re-coding my keys and vin etc?
