I have always wanted to play football at a decent competitive level, even if it's just semi pro. Although Ive never played in any sort of developmental or academy set up. However I decided to trial with a second division reserve side in my country, and while i was eventually cut from the team, playing with higher level players for a month was so beneficial, I became a much better player in that short space of time, and i became so much more confident in my abilities as I started to feel like I could compete with the rest of the players in the squad

"Pros are just amateur footballers that make better decisions with the ball more consistently at a faster place" - Loved it 😍

Seriously the best video I ever saw, I'm playing u20 in my state rn(highest division of u20 in state)
I played 10 minutes/900 in u16
90/900 in u17
100/900 in u20 first year
And this year passed I played 950/1800 mins
Gonna be captain next year, saw tons of improvement in the last 2 years
Hopefully, I believe, i can make it...

This episode is great. Amazing knowledge and advice. Our son has left Canada and been going for it since he was 15 in Europe. He’s 19 now. The ups and downs mess with your head so much. I think when he watches this tonight it will reassure him he is on the right path.

Thanks for mentioning #4, I used to watch games just for the sake of it but now I have the habit of watching and analyzing games, which in turn has helped me a lot on improving my game and demeanor while in the pitch (at my age, I still play soccer at amateur level and I can say I play better now than 10 years ago).

Dude, it's been a minute since I last watched one of your videos, but some part of me lit up like a Christmas tree, when I heard your signature opening (0:24) and just made me smile. You just have such a positive presence, that it just makes me feel optimistic and happy. Keep doing your thing, man. You rock.

Truth be told, I've done a lot of research, read a lot of self help, done a lot of training mental and physical, and somehow, still manage to get down. It's only with the help from my friends and information from people like you that I realise, at the end of the day everybody is human, and not everyone is one and the same and that everybody has different paths to go on. Some people reach the end goal faster than others and some maybe a bit later, but the main thing is to not give up at any cost and enjoy the life one has set their hearts on, through the ups and downs. This video has opened my eyes at a time when I needed it the most, hope you continue to make videos like this, young/old ballers out there need this... 🤩

6 years ago I did not like my coach because he put me in a defender position LB, I hate it at the beginning I wanted to play as a wing like “Neymar”…. however, later I found your channel and I start to like my position and my level improved !so fast ! I was cutting ball from very skilled wingers all day, my coach was so impressed with me ! He can put me LB RB and I was killing it . I cannot thank u enough ❤.

It's crazy how this video makes me realize that I am on the right track cause most of these things I keep telling myself when I feel down or doubt myself

So many talented footballers don't have a plan and never come close to maximizing their potential. If that might be you, listen to this man...in that I appreciate his words because he has been able to push himself very close to what I perceive as his ceiling, which is about the best compliment I can give him.
