Russia has launched missile attacks on Kyiv for the first time in 44 days, Ukrainian officials said. Ukraine’s air force commander, Mykola Oleschuk, said all 31 Russian missiles targeting Kyiv were shot down, comprising two ballistic missiles and 29 cruise missiles. Vitali Klitschko, mayor of the Ukrainian capital, said rocket fragments fell on a kindergarten in Sviatoshynskyi district and a block of flats in another area was on fire. Ten people were injured, Klitschko said, among them an 11-year-old girl.

So far, Russia left civil life and structure safe in western Ukrainian speaking provinces so they can continue a separate life after the conflict. Most of the destruction since 2014 is in the eastern Russian speaking provinces that Kyiv kept attacking and that Russia annexed and rebuild.


So now, if Kyiv widen the conflict they shouldn't be surprise that Russia does too.
After Ukraine bombed Belgorod and refineries I was expecting this and i am surprise of Russian's restrain.

If they could disable 75% of their oil refining capacity, it could basically end the ground invasion. This could lead to an internal revolt among Russian people, as the price of oil could skyrocket in Russia and inflation will go through the roof, probably towards 40% inflation, possibly even higher.

Just nakes me chuckle when I think Zalinski(?) thought he was going to actually defeat the Russians.

Its just so ridiculous of a thought that i cant help but snicker. Think about just how arrogant or naive yoy have to be to seriously think that you could defeat Russia in a war... egads!
