Multiple explosions heard in Ukraine capital Kyiv - BBC News

Multiple explosions have been heard in Ukraine's capital Kyiv, in the first strikes in the city for many months.

At least two explosions were heard in central Kyiv shortly after 08:00 local time (06:00 BST).

The apparent strikes on the city come two days after the only bridge linking Russia with occupied Crimea was damaged in a blast.

A Danish journalist was live on air on DR P1 this morning as well, and hearing two missiles and eksplosions live with glass shattering on air was... emotional. I couldn't go to work before we heard the news that she was safe in a shelter. War during breakfast reminded me once again about the reality of Ukrainians...and made it clear to me why my Ukrainian pupils sometimes run when they hear airplanes during recess....

Hi from Burshtyn (Ivano Frankivsk region), we are one of the far West regions of Ukraine, but even we are under missiles attack right now. Personally I heard 4 explosions this morning. We still have the connection, but it may disappear.
We expected them to do something like that after Crimea bridge
