i wonder how many greek (or even american) viewers got the reference to chevrolet trucks' "like a rock" ad campaign of the '90s/early aughts, let alone the seasonal mcrib comebacks

“I don’t mind the taste.”

That’s actually high praise coming from Krusty. He’s made it very clear in the past how much he hates his burgers and how disgusted he is by people who eat them.

can we appreciate the fact that bart showed actual proper concern for his fathers well-being?

(Later in the episode)

Krusty: "The RibWich is discontinued because the animal we made it from is now extinct."
RibWich Lovers: "The cow? The pig?"
Krusty: "Think smaller. Think more legs."

This genuinely feels like something I'd hear on the radio in GTA SA

Gotta love how they say the meat "letter graded" but they don't mention which letter it received

What if I were to purchase a bunch of ribwiches and disguise them as my own cooking?

From the McRib wiki page-
Meat restructuring was developed by the US Army to deliver low-cost meat to troops in the field. The process was refined by a Natick Army Labs meat scientist, Dr. Roger Mandigo, leading to the McRib patty. It is primarily composed of ground pork shoulder.

When Krusty bites into the burger, you can hear a loud crunch, almost as if he's biting into an apple. It really sells the whole "processed to hell" line.

Love how it's literally molten meat lol

For almost my entire life I've had this sequence of events burned into my head: workers throw a cow into a furnace, molten meat comes out and gets cast into burgers. I never knew where this image came from until just now. Childhood mystery solved!

Those two guys were strong enough to not only lift the cow, but hurl it into the furnace. That's pretty impressive.

I'm Greek, and the subtitles say "we start with authentic evaluated meat, and then process it as much as it takes to please Krusty.", and at the end, Bart literally says "Yes, lord."

Eat a Ribwich while driving your Canyonero. It's the American way.

Gotta love that weird crunch it made when Krusty bit into it.

Also if you pay attention you can see that the the cow used in the commercial is never seen being used in the sandwich, only as fuel for the fire to process the 'meat'

What invertebrate, now extinct, had its meat letter graded? You can sort of understand why Krusty Burger processed the hell out of it.

Rick and Morty commercials are Ad-libbed, as if the commercial narrator is completely unsure of the product or service their promoting. It’s almost like they didnt have a script, were put on air, and forced to describe the product as it was playing.

Simpson’s commercials are just brutally honest. They want you to know they use low quality meat and it goes through a huge amount of processing. Even their spokesperson, mascot, and quite possibly the founder of the chain is basically saying he can just barely stomach the product.

Idk what’s more impressive, the fact they turned molten slag into meat, or that two men lifted and threw a cow into the fire like a log
