Camel delivers books to Pakistan’s desert children amid Covid school closures

Roshan the camel has been travelling through the desert to deliver books to children in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. Launched in August 2020, the Camel Library project has continued well into 2021 as the coronavirus pandemic has kept schoolchildren at home. Raheema Jalal is the founder of the mobile library project that takes remote learning to a whole new level.

This camel man did the same thing that Al-Ma'mun did in the 8th century to build a Library of Baghdad later it became a single great library for the whole world, the House of Wisdom. Al-Ma'mun ordered his man to collect books from all around the world, so his man did collect books on camels, horses and bring them to the library of Baghdad.
