I have both the OnePlus 7T and the iPhone. Both have their strong points. Love the 90Hz refresh rate and the Oxygen OS while I also love the video recording quality and the speed at which iMovies can export videos

The key take away for me is that the OnePlus 7T is a lot cheaper and performed pretty much about the same as a $1000+ iPhone. For Android vs iOS, the difference of a few seconds can very likely be made up for if those individual apps are optimized more. It's amazing that OnePlus is able to fit such powerful hardware in such an affordable device. The 90hz is not something the iPhone can match with a software update, the price is not something iPhone can match with a software update. Overall, OnePlus wins hands down here!
