Thanks! Manually handling the partitions is very intimidating in Ubuntu/Debian, so I'm glad to have a video that shows how to do it properly.

Hey, you skipped an error! It will not boot correctly if we skip this EFI partition correctly. I have the same issue. That is why i was searching for the same

The only video that makes sense, the only problem is if you already have 2 primary partitions you should go with logical because hard can only have 3 main there are tools to use after in windows to set windows main & boot with the windows menu.

Hey! I followed your steps exactly, but then it gave me an error, I could not even power off, so I had to do it manually. When I turned it back on I have not booting option because I previously deleted my windows setup. What do I do?

Hi. Sure you recommend setting all partitions as primary? Why swap and home are not logical?

Probably a dumb question, but im new to Ubuntu, having come from CentOS. When I boot up ubuntu server ISO, I get a CLI interface not a GUI. Im having difficulty with partitioning the boot disk, where can I go to find out how to do it via the CLI?

is the same thing safe to do on a virtual machine?
can all the changes be reverted back and the virtual machine safely deleted later if needed?
