I just picked up a pocket bully/lab mix a few weeks ago for free. I got her off of people that were neglecting her..shes not exactly the kind of dog I wanted and I'm finding out she has allergies but everything else is literally perfect. I can't wait to see how she does after she has all her shots and it gets nice out.

Learned these lessons the very hard way. My mom impulsively bought our pit bull/ mastiff mix from a “farmer”. I immediately took charge in raising him and he eventually just became my dog when I moved out. I paid for an echocardiogram a week after his first birthday, and ended up finding out my best friend actually has congenital heart failure due to improper breeding. Some people really don’t care about these beautiful animals. And if you feel like you’re getting an animal for too cheap, make sure you’re ready to take care of your companion!

I wish I could post a picture of my dog on here, I only gave $250 dollars for him and he is the perfect dog, people think I gave thousands for him...and he looks better than 95 percent of the pits I see on line..💪🏾

You are so right. I bought my dog from a breeder and he advertised him as Pitbull for $750. I did pick the puppy that was calmer than the rest. Also he cuddle on my neck soon I picked him up so I was sold. The guy did have the dogs registered with AKC and sent me the certificate. I had a DNA test done months later and it came back he was 60% bully (like his mom) 19 % Pitbull. He also had coonhound in him which explained his howling and his smelling the time. He has the same demeanor 2 years later. Super friendly but very protective of me. Great loveble guy bu stubborn at time. Thanks for your videos. Any dog at any price can have health and temperate issues. Any vet does the testing to check the health and blood test of your dog. You don't need to pay $5000 for a breeder to do it.

Best dog I had I paid 500 and he lasted me almost 16 years. The absolute best. No health problems and such a great tempement. Great video. But forgot couple things. It's not always on the breeder or the dog. It's also the owner. Like a parent to a kid, it's a full time job and also train train train and diet helps alot

I have a beautiful standard pit and I started working with dogs shortly after I got her. I bought her from a family who had a purebred APBT and ABKC. However I got her at 8 weeks (a crucial stage to spend with the mother). My dog has serious anxiety because of that. It’s all about WHO you’re getting them from. I love my girl, but she suffers because of my mistakes. I would advise to spend a little extra to make sure you’re getting a well cared for pup.

Also, if you live in an area with pit bull restrictions, ask your vet to provide your dogs Medical Records to list the breed as "terrier mix." That's how we were allowed to keep our first pit in a breed selective legislated (bull shite law, we call it) location.

My dog was $500 but they gave me a deal for $400 bc we’re close friends, he is you’re perfect standard for an American bully. His temperament is amazing and he’s the easiest dog I’ve ever trained. His parents were perfectly trained and behaved. I am just very lucky I think but I’m glad I bought him.

I had a land shark for 15 years, his name was SWIFT.the mother was a red nose pit, and the father was a dobi/shepard mix.magnificent mammal.one of my best buddies ever .he died on 04/14/2009.his kindred spirit was a blessing to my soul.

u should do a video explaining the pricing and markets for the different breeds apbt staffs and bullys and the different bully classes. buying a 5k bully you're buying production quality 5k pit bull you're seeing that price for a different reason. well bred APBT 400-2000 well bred american bully usually 1, 000 and up

When I got my pitbull I didn't pay that much for him but the person I got him from was a family member and they have pure breed pitbulls and I had info on the parents of my dog so I think it depends who you get it from but you do have good points in your video just in my case I find out behind my dogs background and stuff before buying him and so far he's great and such a big baby❤
