I watched an interview with a lady who was treated by Walter Kempner. She lost 140 lbs. But on the rice diet, she only started on rice and fruit. As the diet progressed, she was given chicken and fish and other foods too.

I'm 2 months into my HCLF journey, enjoying it and getting good results even in such a short period. Even as a man I found what you had to say informative and I've added some refinement to my approach based on your output. I love your open honest natural approach and lack of being overproduced and polished. You are doing important work so I encourage you to keep it up.

What do you do about your cavities? I’ve been vegan for 10 years eating starch solution. My teeth were fine. I took six months to do more dates, bananas, and added refined sugar. I ended up having six cavities after six months. I don’t hear a lot of people talking about teeth. I noticed Durianrider has veneers now. I know he was at in about a half a bag of sugar on his banana smoothies.

Just because something works for weight loss doesn't mean it's healthy. Meth works great for losing weight but everybody would agree that it's definitely not healthy. Same goes for an extremely high carb diet that's lacking in essential fatty acids & life giving proteins.

This diet is "working" by creating what's known as metabolic syndrome. What this diet is doing is raising your blood sugars & insulin levels to dangerously high levels & eventually your body won't be able to produce enough insulin to combat all those blood sugars anymore leading to type 2 diabetes. Many diabetics also experience unexplained rapid weight loss just before they became full-blown diabetic. Also, the lack of other macronutrients is causing your body to burn all of the sugars as fuel & then some; it's literally stealing fat & protein from your bodily tissues to sustain itself & while all that weight loss may seem exciting, you should be concerned about all the muscle & bone loss putting you at much higher risk of developing sarcopenia & osteoporosis prematurely, not to mention the many other illnesses that can manifest due to the myriad of nutritional deficiencies.

If you want to follow an extreme diet that is actually healthy & sustainable long term, look into the carnivore diet. Our ancestors ate an animal-based diet & thrived for thousands of years, without most diseases we know today all while being perfectly lean & muscular with strong bones, healthy teeth & a longer lifespan.

Cavities will eventually become a major issue if one follows this type of diet long enough. I don't care how good your dental hygiene is or what you do to balance pH (although those are great & helpful things), ultimately our teeth must have adequate levels of fat soluble vitamins, proteins, & bioavailable minerals to maintain their composition, all of which are lacking in a HCLF diet. Also, all fruits & carbohydrates in general are acidic or produce acids when broken down, some more or less than others, but all are below 7 pH which would be considered neutral. So literally, no fruit or carb in general can be considered neutral pH, that's just an outright lie.

Animals that eat HCLF diets grow multiple sets of teeth throughout their lifetimes to replace the broken down cavitated ones. Carnivores like humans on the other hand only grow two sets; baby teeth & adult teeth, since our Creator or evolution doesn't anticipate for us to need more than that while living primitively in nature without access to advanced dental care.

For the love of good sugar isn’t bad; over eating is. This woman also didn’t have that many calories and also filled her stomach with nutrient dense foods. her diet is honestly balanced only thing that could be said is protein was low.

Are you sure its a good thing to use added sugar? Is it possible to explain why?

I wonder if this would work if i tweaked it slightly to include some protein and fat. Lets say i added coconut milk to the rice and had a portion of tofu and/or nuts every day. And had less sugar – maybe just one teaspoon with the rice.

I want to start eating rice but I can't find exactly how many calories does 1 cup of cooked rice have?? Everytime I Google calories for one cup of white or brown rice it says a bunch of different things I can't tell which is the accurate answer

any tips for someone following these rules for the last 5 years and still haven't lost any weight? trying to make it work but cant get the results. I watch my fat intake very strictly too
