I think these are 🐣beginner🐤 friendly:
Shadowhunters (rich world, urban fantasy, many books in the world of shadowhunters - interesting and fun books), Cruel Prince (true enemies to lovers - hate to love you vibes; lots of politics and Wicked King and Queen of Nothing are so so good), Kiss of Deception (The Remnant Chronicles - YA high fantasy, complex but not too much), Beautiful Creatures (The Caster Chronicles were one of my first fantasies - witches, secret library, twists)🐥

Here's some other recs: The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern is a great standalone with beautiful writing and atmosphere. The Scythe trilogy by Neal Shusterman is another good place to start if you're looking for an unique YA flavor. The House Witch by Delemhach if you're seeking something a bit more cozy. Looking for a bit more adult: American Gods by Neil Gaiman. The Tapestry by Henry H. Neff is a very cool middle grade series, and so many more.

Don't stress about where to start too much, the most important thing is just simply starting.

The only one I haven't read from this list is Jade City, but it's because I'm scared of it. >.< Glad it's beginner fantasy friendly.

Just finished reading Dune. Took me most of February. Happy reading everyone.

🐤🐤🐥🐥 Great video. Just read Fireborne(+ sequels) and Elantris this month, fantastic ways to branch out into fantasy. Read The Will of the Many last summer, it's one of my all time favorites for sure. Definitely a great way for beginners to learn the pain of having to wait between books! 🐥🐥🐤🐤

I honestly thought Will of the Many was like a literary book. Like a philosophy ancient times book. It's the only reason I didn't get the TBB edition. And now Im really regretting it hearing that it's everyone's fave fantasy book.... Bad cover marketing in my opinion 🤣😅
