‘Officially dead’: Melbourne’s Australia Day parade cancelled

Sky News host Caleb Bond says Melbourne’s Australia Day parade is “officially dead”.

His remarks come after Victoria Premier Jacinta Allan revealed the event would be cancelled.

Its kind of a shame. Victoria is really a great place, they used to have a lot fun stuff and prices were reasonable. However after intense ongoing efforts of Andrews and Allen, they have successfully reduced it to a silent dreary grey place, which it really just isn't. I guess we just have to wait for the next election cycle, and hope that something spirited and clever comes along in the form of an opposition.
