The mom is not going to get manipulated by the spoiled kids. The host family are NOT the world's strictest parents, they are the world's very best parents. I came across this video by coincidence but it is one of the most beautiful I have seen. Huge respect for the host family and fine Lebanese people. Daniel's transformation made me cry. Also, the story of the Place of Hope was very emotional.

When Imon tells her daughter "Don't look me in the eye" that surprised me. Growing up I was always told "Look me in the eye when I'm talking to you". If I didn't then it would be considered ignoring them. The differences between cultures with smaller things like that is somewhat fascinating to me. Lol

I love how at the beginning of each of these videos….the parents always say they hope the new family can get their kid in line! SERIOUSLY? How about YOU parent YOUR kid? 🤦‍♀️😡. If they had done their job from the beginning….their kid wouldn’t be out of control!

These aren't strict parents, they are normal parents who care about the wellbeing of their kids. Parents who don't discipline their kids, don't really love them.

They literally said don't smoke on their property. And the son has health issues ( I'll assume asthma) That's incredibly disrespectful. I smoke but if someone asked me not to on their property I would go without.

I am not ashamed to say I cried at this one. Daniel's eloquent essay after realising he's not the centre of the universe was inspiring, as was Debbie's genuine apology to Iman, along with the obvious weight lifted from her shoulders when she did so. They're both good kids.
